In addition to the carnival, the cathedral, Johannes Gutenberg and the Rhine, Mainz 05 has been a special institution in the Rhineland-Palatinate state capital and an emotional beacon for Rheinhessen since 1905. The development of Mainz 05 into an established Bundesliga club, which has been playing in the Bundesliga for more than 14 years with its very own touch and the typical Mainz attitude towards life, is inextricably linked to the coaches Wolfgang Frank, Jürgen Klopp and Thomas Tuchel. In addition to football, Mainz 05 is also involved in the areas of handball, table tennis and e-sports, in which professional teams have also been able to establish themselves and enrich the diversity of the Mainz sports world. The training and further education of talented coaches and players in the youth training center is a core competence, the Rhenish Hessian joie de vivre characterizes players, coaches, fans and employees. Mainz 05 offers the latter an optimal environment for professional and personal development; be they young professionals or experienced job seekers. Social responsibility, tolerance and humanity are not buzzwords, but have always shaped the actions and thinking of the club and will continue to represent guidelines for further development in the future.
