Bump Technologies (acquired by Google)

Bump was acquired by Google in September 2013. Bump Technologies is the creator of the Bump app available on iOS and Android devices and the newly launched Flock - Photos Together app. Bump enables users to quickly and easily exchange contact info and photos, simply by bumping their phones together. We now have more than 80 million downloads and are in the top 15 free iOS apps of all time. Flock - Photos Together finds the photos you take together with family and friends and magically brings all the photos from each person's phone together into a single shared album. We are currently developing new interactions and new applications to enable users to interact with friends and other devices in a variety of magical ways. Bump’s vision is to build the simplest way to use your phone to interact with others in the real world. Bump was co-founded in 2009 and has received funding from YCombinator, Sequoia, and Andreessen-Horowitz. We are based in Mountain View, CA.
