100% green, local and citizen! Enercoop, an ethical and cooperative electricity supplier, offers an offer of 100% renewable origin to individuals, professionals, communities and associations throughout metropolitan France. Created in 2005, it is the only electricity supplier in the form of a cooperative (SCIC) to source its supplies from renewable energy producers: wind, hydraulic, photovoltaic and biomass. Beyond its ecological and responsible offer, Enercoop develops cooperatives at the local level to create a short circuit between producers and consumers of electricity and thus participate in the reappropriation of energy by citizens. The cooperative now has more than 107,000 customers and 60,000 members who contribute collectively and democratically (1 person = 1 vote) to the project.
