• Reviewing, tracking, and reporting on incoming deal flow and establish relationships with entrepreneurs to assist with the identification of promising investment opportunities• Supporting the diligence teams in due diligence of prospective investments by performing qualitative and quantitative analyses into a wide variety of industries, technologies, and companies• Conducting research, organizing, and participating in diligence calls, and communicating with internal and external subject matter experts.• Preparation of presentations and analyses for the investment committee• Develop and execute strategies to engage with startups to fundraise and scale effectively; resulting in a 20% increase in the number of deals • Write comprehensive diligence reports pertaining to investment opportunities, producing 5 research reports and 3 monthly diligence updates for investors.• Aid ongoing assessment of internal processes and recommend changes as needed, leading to the successful implementation of internal processes.• Assist in investment group operations and various ad hoc reporting activities; helping to streamline operations and increase efficiency• Monitoring the Florida startup ecosystem and partner with external investor partners; connecting with over 100 investors Show less
