Norsk rikskringkasting (NRK)

Norwegian Broadcasting (NRK) is Norway's largest media company. NRK is a publicly owned, licence-financed public broadcaster. NRK offers a broad media offering with three TV channels, 16 radio channels and the website NRK.no. As a publicly owned broadcasting company, NRK has the task of creating a broad and wide media offer for everyone who lives in Norway based on Norwegian language and culture. Total works approx. 3,500 in NRK, around 2,000 at the head office at Marienlyst in Oslo, while the other 1,500 are distributed among large and small NRK departments around the country. NRK employs a number of professional groups. Journalists are the largest group, but there are also a number of software engineering and technical jobs as well as a number of IT jobs.
