It is a VC-backed startup developing mobile computer vision technologies using deep learning. I work on its portrait-editing app, called Lensa (300k downloads in 2021), mainly focusing on building common frameworks.• Rearchitected photo and video importing processes in the app and on the backend to leverage iOS 14 photo picker’s advantages, this led to a 5% increase in the number of imported items• Implemented a feature that extracted a filter from a photo allowing to reuse the filter on other photos, used by 10k users/month• Rearchitected a photo saving and preview flows to enable more animations in the UI; this solved freezing for ~1% of usersStack: Swift package manager, Swift, Transition Animations, Core Data, iOS 14 native import, SwiftUI, Metal, MVC, AB-Tests
